Summary: Bedsider, a free support network for women between the ages of 18–29 that is operated by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, just launched a national campaign to bring awareness to the importance of birth control and the startling statistics about unplanned pregnancy in the United States. According to the Guttmacher Institute, nearly one out of every ten unmarried young women in the United States have an unplanned pregnancy, a 13% increase between 2001 and 2006. The campaign itself, along with the help of the Ad Council and Euro RSCG NY (the agency that provided the creative), is planned for three years and is targeting sexually active women between the ages of 18–24.
