There’s mom and apple pie, baseball and hot dogs, and of course we can’t forget Orville Redenbacher and popcorn. “You’ll like it better or my name isn’t Orville Redenbacher,” he told us in a commercial over 40 years ago, and we’ve been eating his words ever since. Although at first questionable whether this man in geeky bowtie and glasses was for real (or an actor) we eventually learned he was square biz.
